The report says <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-cm/lists/antonio-conte-napoli-confirm-appointment-new-coach/blt1fd7951f8be1bec2" target="_blank">new boss Antonio Conte</a> wants to retain the Georgian star's services after <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/barcelona-psg-napoli-khvicha-kvaratskhelia-new-contract/bltedf64a8df49ab9ae" target="_blank">links with Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona</a>, and so far talks have been positive.

WHAT HAPPENED?

The attacker has refused to confirm whether or not he will stay or go, saying recently: "Has Conte said that I'm staying? I don't know yet, I respect him because he is one of the best coaches to the world but I still want to take some time to decide. I respect Naples, I love Naples. I still don't know how to give a certain answer about my future."

WHAT KHVICHA KVARATSKHELIA SAID

Earlier this month, the player's agent, Mamuka Jugeli, said <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/napoli-fire-back-khvicha-kvaratskhelia-s-agent-reveals-star-wants-to-leave-psg-barcelona-transfer-interest/blt3bf81478eb9b6a29#cs7373198c7dca90b2" target="_blank">"we want to leave Napoli"</a> but they were waiting to decide on his future after the Euros, prompting the Italian side to hit back at these claims - stating Kvaratskhelia was "not on the market". He still has three years left on his contract.

While Kvaratskhelia's future will continue to be a hot button topic, his Georgia side are preparing for the knockout stages of Euro 2024 for the first time.
