WHAT HAPPENED?

Yoro was a statement signing for United, particularly as they beat Real Madrid to his signature. However, his injury is a big blow to them and it may have been keenly felt during the rest of a <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/man-utd-worst-ever-pre-season-poor-results-injury-woes-erik-ten-hag-problems-premier-league/blt1bbb9f23993fe0a3" target="_blank">difficult pre-season campaign</a>. The 6ft 3in Yoro had a breakthrough season for Lille last term, making 44 appearances in all competitions and scoring three goals along the way. The France Under-21 international will hope he can have an instant impact at Old Trafford upon his return from injury.
