The Red Devils have continued their youth recruitment drive by adding Lusale and Overy to their ranks, per <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5779334/2024/09/19/manchester-united-transfers-lusale-overy/" target="_blank">The Athletic</a>. The former joins from Crystal Palace, while the latter arrives from Perth Glory. Both are expected to be heavily involved with the Under-18s and Under-21s this season.

WHAT HAPPENED?

The two new arrivals follow Man Utd's deal to <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/man-utd-red-devils-agree-deal-to-sign-senegal-international-sekou-kone/blt768252a87e509276#cse7dac0c4ebc0cedb" target="_blank">sign 18-year-old wonderkid Sekou Kon</a>e from Guidars FC. Erik ten Hag views the midfielder as a future starter and holds similar opinions of Lusale and Overy.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

Lusale is a Slovakia youth international and has represented the Eastern European nation up to U18 level. Overy arrives from Australia but holds British citizenship.
