GOAL™ released the 19 F/W collection last week and held its first showcase at the Super Ball 2019 held in Prague, Czech Republic.
Five of the GOAL™ freestyle football ambassadors participated in what was the biggest event of the year for freestyle football.
Luca Chiarvesio (Italy), Ricardinho Chahini (Brazil), Kazane Shimazaki (Japan), and Yoanna Dallier (France) all put on excellent performances, while Conor Reynolds (Ireland) was a judge.
Luca claimed a double by taking first place in the Sick 3 and Challenge competitions, a first in Super Ball history. Ricardinho, Kazane, and Yoanna all placed in the top 16 of the Battle category.
With the brand slogan “LIVE THE GOAL” the theme of the season, the 19 F/W collection provided the perfect complement to this epic freestyle competition, with each competitor having jetted in from all across the globe with a specific goal of their own.
The newly applied GOAL™ emblem, featuring the “LIVE THE GOAL” text design on the chest, became something of a lucky charm, while the key design element “RESPECT” was a sentiment felt by many, in recognition of the passion and commitment each and every competitor brought to the event.
The first release of 19 F/W collection, Respect Edition, is inspired by the English FA’s Respect campaign, which was launched in the 2008-09 season after a build-up of behavioural problems in the national game.
The campaign highlighted the negative impact of poor behaviour and encouraged everyone involved to raise standards both on and off the pitch.
Comprised of t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies and windbreakers, the signature design is built around the “RESPECT” text which also features on the left sleeve, which resembles a captain’s armband.
The Respect Edition serves as a homage to those pursuing their dreams in line to the brand slogan, “LIVE THE GOAL”.
