The eyes of American soccer will be on Serie A this season. Several United States men's national team stars have made their way to Italy's top flight, making Serie A the place to be for Americans heading into the 2023-24 campaign.
AC Milan has quickly morphed into US-AC Milan this summer by doing deals for two of American soccer's top stars: Christian Pulisic and Yunus Musah. Pulisic, of course, is American soccer's golden boy, perhaps the most famous and accomplished player the country has ever produced. Musah, meanwhile, is a rising star that already has a World Cup on his resume, a player that has the potential to reach the heights only previously reached by only Pulisic before him.
They join a reinvigorated and reformed Milan squad that, after several dormant years, has woken up in a big way. A return-to-form Scudetto in 2021-22 was followed up by a run to the Champions League semi-finals last season and, despite some chaos in the boardroom, the club looks poised to challenge for trophies yet again.
