<p>According to <a href="https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1870197432740430227" target="_blank">Fabrizio Romano</a>, the 17-year-old has agreed to join United from July 2025 when he turns 18. The highly-rated teenager is set to join the Red Devils for an initial $4 million (£3m), with up to $4m in add-ons.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>United have been on the lookout for a new left-back due to the injury issues of Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia over the past 18 months. And now they are bringing in a talented full-back who could solve those issues in the future. <p>Leon was born in Colonia Yguazu, Paraguay, on April 3, 2007. He is primarily a left-back but can also play as a left wing-back. The youngster has made 21 appearances for Porteno this season, scoring two goals in the process.</p>
