Dropped by previous England manager Phil Neville in 2020, Earps has spoken poignantly about how <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/man-utd-england-star-mary-earps-sarina-wiegman-lionesses-career-phil-neville/blt38a161058498f7a5" target="_blank">close she came to retiring</a> from football but she has gone from strength to strength since being reinstated to the Lionesses squad by Neville's successor Sarina Wiegman.
