The four-time straight Premier League winners are always on the hunt for new prospects as they look to keep up their domination of English football. Despite having played at the Championship level for under two years, Palace felt obliged to pay Blackburn's £22.5 million ($28.6m) asking price as they understood the potential of the midfielder. After just under six months in the Premier League, Wharton's talents also impressed England boss Gareth Southgate, who has <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-in/lists/immaculate-adam-wharton-england-lock-picker-euro-2024-impressive-debut/bltf966e6a7d7cbe3fc" target="_blank">added him to his final 26-man squad for Euro 2024 in Germany</a>.
