Mid table EPL clubs will humble him at Manchester United 😃."</p><p><a href="https://x.com/_FaridKhan/status/1852319998166909380" target="_blank">@_FaridKhan</a> believes the 39-year-old has taken a step down, saying: "Amorim leaving Sporting for Manchester United is like leaving your Ferrari to drive Toyota!"</p><p>But some users are backing Amorim to succeed. <a href="https://x.com/RomeInTheEast/status/1852319515046256923" target="_blank">@RomeInTheEast </a>posted: "Let’s go!!!! <p>The United job is arguably the most scrutinised and pressure-heavy position you can pick up in football. Amorim is certainly putting himself in danger by accepting it, but <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/ruben-amorim-man-utd-jose-mourinho-sporting/blt88fd209e21217527" target="_blank">if he can get a tune </a>out of the squad then there is potential for him to make a real name for himself at one of the biggest clubs in the world.</p>
