Per <a href="https://gianlucadimarzio.com/it/osimhen-chelsea-trattativa-calciomercato-27-agosto-2024" target="_blank">Gianluca Di Marzio</a>, the Blues have finally submitted an official offer with Osimhen's agent Roberto Calenda and on Wednesday, they are expected to initiate formal talks with Napoli. It remains to be seen now whether the three parties will be able to reach an agreement over the transfer of the Nigerian forward who has already <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/victor-osimhen-which-club-join-arsenal-chelsea-striker-staying-napoli/blt8cd374c1d65d4e5b#cs958dd54e80539a79" target="_blank">informed the Serie A side that he wants to move out</a>.

WHAT HAPPENED?

While talks are on over Osimhen's potential move to Stamford Bridge, Chelsea outcast <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/romelu-lukuaku-finally-on-the-move-napoli-make-new-and-improved-offer-for-chelsea-striker/blte8d3214ba6b38f38#cs7e0520b31e005b36" target="_blank">Lukaku is on the verge of formally joining Gli Azzurri</a> on Wednesday. He is set to travel to Naples in the next few hours to undergo his medical before he formally puts pen to paper on a permanent contract.

Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli have also approached Osimhen with a lucrative offer, however, his agent <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/victor-osimhen-agent-shuts-down-saudi-transfer-rumours-huge-boost-chelsea/blt16ffa8ef385fb314#csd5a678ada825e8df" target="_blank">Calenda clarified on social media</a> that his client has no plans to leave Europe at this stage of his career.
