Alongside Scholes thinking Alexander-Arnold should replace Kieran Trippier in defence, the former England midfielder believes youth is the answer for those<a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/england-urged-to-drop-bukayo-saka-ashley-cole-arsenal-star-must-rest-against-slovenia/blt64197313fadcd368" target="_blank"> not working in their current positions.</a> Palmer enjoyed an incredible debut season with Chelsea while Mainoo broke into the Manchester United starting XI under Erik ten Hag.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

England are back in action on Tuesday evening for their final group-stage game of Euro 2024.
