Still has some work to do in attack though.Raphael Varane (7/10):Made a super block to prevent Kamaldeen Sulemana scoring in the first half. Came close to scoring down the other end from a set-piece.Lisandro Martinez (8/10):Aside from getting an early booking, this was a near-perfect performance from the Argentine. Dribbles with the confidence of an attacking midfielder and is exceptional at snuffing out danger with blocks and interceptions.Luke Shaw (7/10):A fine response to his Anfield horror show.

Bruno Fernandes (7/10):Worked exceedingly hard and almost scored with a superb effort which came off the inside of the post.Casemiro (4/10):His studs up challenge on Alcaraz left United with 10 men for over half of the match and they will have to make do without him for their next four domestic games.Jadon Sancho (6/10):Worked very hard defensively but created little of note in attack.

Antony (6/10):Worked much harder than at Anfield and had some promising moments in the first half before fading after Casemiro's red card.Wout Weghorst (4/10):Too slow to latch on to a promising pass from Shaw and sent a free header straight into the arms of Gavin Bazunu. Was taken off immediately after Casemiro was sent off.Marcus Rashford (5/10):Was not really on it today, only getting in one good shooting position and firing at Bazunu from a tight angle.
