Salah's post-match comments to Sky Sports following Liverpool's 3-0 win have fueled speculation about his future at the club. The Egyptian's contract expires at the end of the season and the rumours will only intensify after he admitted this is his "last year" at Anfield.

Sky Sports pundits quickly set about dissecting Salah's unprompted comments, with Jamie Carragher saying he would be surprised if Salah wasn't a Liverpool player next season due to a desire to break more records at the club. But the 32-year-old has made it clear that he's very much open to the possibility of leaving, with Saudi Arabia interest widely reported.

"Honestly, I had a good summer, I had a long time to stay with myself and try to think positive, because as you know it's my last year in the club," Salah said. "I just want to enjoy it and I don't want to think about it. The Liverpool star scored and set up two goals as Arne Slot's side cruised to victory at Old Trafford, and he said the Reds could have scored "five or six"."I agree with you, I was a little surprised.
