<p><a href="https://www.marca.com/futbol/real-madrid/2024/05/03/66351533e2704e0f648b45de.html" target="_self">Marca</a> reports that the Real Madrid centerback has his heart set on MLS. Having no desire to move to Saudi Arabia, Nacho has also spurned European offers - he wants to move to the USA.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Nacho could join the likes of ex-La Liga stars Sergio Busquets, Lionel Messi, Riqui Puig and Jordi Alba in MLS - while others like <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/i-want-be-my-last-club-europe-antoine-griezmann-speaks-next-move-mls-links/blt4ccc1496ecd7637b" target="_blank">Antoine Griezmann are already linked</a>.</p><p>Former Madrid ace Gareth Bale played for LAFC, so them being a landing destination for the central defender has been mentioned, too. However, no club has officially put their name in the hat for the Spaniard yet.</p>

<p>Nacho took over as captain during the 2023/24 season after Karim Benzema left Madrid for Saudi Arabia. In total, he has made 357 appearances for Madrid. </p>
