UEFA Nations League draw: England to face Republic of Ireland in second tier as France, Italy & Belgium make up group of death in League A

Scotland were moved up to League A and found themselves in the same group as Portugal.

LEAGUE B IN FULL

The draw means that England and Ireland will meet in a competitive match for the first time since 1991, when they met in a Euro 92 qualifying game.Spain went on to win the competition last year when they beat Croatia 5-4 in a penalty shootout after playing out a goalless draw.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

The UEFA Nations League will start in September, with the league phase ending in November. The League A quarter-finals will then go ahead in March 2025 before the semi-finals, third place play-off and final take place in June.
