Fernandez has been found guilty of a traffic violation by Llanelli Magistrates' Court for failing to identify himself as the driver of a Porsche that allegedly ran a red light in Carmarthenshire as per the <a href="https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/ck7gvnedjgjo" target="_blank">BBC</a>. On December 27 of last year, the 23-year-old Argentine was charged of withholding information from Dyfed-Powys Police. He is now due to be sentenced on September 11 for his violation.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Earlier this week,<a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/chelsea-squad-very-angry-enzo-fernandez-footage-argentina-squad-singing-racist-discriminatory-song-french-football-federation-hints-legal-action/blt3c7a923d65fafe13" target="_blank"> Fernandez and his Argentina teammates came under fire for their racist chants regarding the African heritage of multiple players in the French national team</a>. After a lot of criticism, <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/enzo-fernandez-apology-france-song-argentina-copa-america-celebrations-chelsea-furious/blt138381b0c45d3e94" target="_blank">the 23-year-old issued an apology</a>, however, the issue is still not over as the France Football Federation (FFF) has threatened legal action against the players in question.

Fernandez isn't the first Premier League player to be found of guilty of a driving offence this week after Manchester United's <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-in/lists/marcus-rashford-banned-from-driving-man-utd-star-speeding-rolls-royce/blt54331a129288a4f5" target="_blank">Marcus Rashford was found guilty of overspeeding in his Rolls Royce</a> and was handed a six-month driving ban for his actions.
