Romano, however, adds that United's priority remains to secure the signature of Bayern Munich right-back Noussair Mazraoui as they are all set to <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/aaron-wan-bissaka-close-man-utd-exit-west-ham-aiming-complete-deal-pave-way-noussair-mazraoui/blt174500c8c64a07e1" target="_blank">part ways with Aaron Wan-Bissaka</a>, who is on his way to join West Ham. <a href="https://x.com/Plettigoal/status/1821939542397440463" target="_blank">Sky Sports</a> reported on Friday that the <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/when-man-utd-aim-to-sign-matthijs-de-ligt-noussair-mazraoui-bayern-munich/bltd9b01fb1f5ada654#cscef72d57f7bcb988" target="_blank">Premier League club are expected to seal a move</a> for the Moroccan by the end of August.

Hermoso predominantly plays as a central defender, however, he can also be deployed as a left-back. Last season, the player appeared in 45 matches across all competitions where he scored twice and provided as many assists.
