One more surprising name that has popped up in their shortlist is Manchester United's Rashford. Per GOL Sport journalist <a href="https://x.com/albertfc11/status/1825846133026848987" target="_blank">Albert Fernandez</a>, Flick has reportedly requested for the club to sign the English winger.

The 26-year-old managed to score just eight goals and provide six assists across all competitions for United last season and was widely criticised for his performances. His poor form led to Gareth Southgate leaving him out of the England squad that travelled to Germany for Euro 2024.
