WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Meanwhile, Courtois has been sidelined due to a recurring adductor injury. The Belgian initially suffered the injury during the La Liga match against Atlético Madrid, which ended in a 1-1 draw on September 29. After spending two weeks recovering, he returned to deliver standout performances against both Celta Vigo and Dortmund. However, his efforts in the recent game against Dortmund aggravated his adductor injury, forcing him back into recovery.</p>

<p>The statement on Rodrygo read: "Following the tests carried out today... he has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in the right femoral biceps."</p><p>On Courtois, the club announced: "Following tests carried out on our player Thibaut Courtois by Real Madrid's medical services, he has been diagnosed with an adductor injury in his left leg. Pending evolution."</p>

REAL MADRID STATEMENT ON THE INJURIES

<p>Madrid’s squad depth and adaptability will be thoroughly examined with both teams battling for dominance.
