- Real Madrid dropped points in Sevilla draw
- Toni Kroos & Luka Modric both finished the game
- Carlo Ancelotti's decisions have been questioned
WHAT HAPPENED? Real Madrid dropped La Liga points in a 1-1 draw with Sevilla over the weekend. Modric and Kroos finished the game on the pitch together, with Relevo reporting that the club's board consider Aurelien Tchouameni, Federico Valverde and Eduardo Camavinga 'untouchable', and are beginning to disapprove of the veteran duo playing at the same time.
THE BIGGER PICTURE: Kroos, 33, played the whole game at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, while 38-year-old Modric replaced Valverde for the final 23 minutes plus stoppage time when the scoreline was still 0-0. Ancelotti had also withdrawn Tchouameni moments before. Kroos and Modric had last spent meaningful time on the pitch together in the city derby defeat to Atletico Madrid.
