<p>Lehmann signed up for a <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/alisha-lehmann-baller-aston-villa-star-joins-indoor-football-league-germany-greats-lukas-podolski-mats-hummels/blt58eda6de20e4a0e6" target="_blank">managerial role in the Baller League</a>, a project spearheaded by World Cup winners Podolski and Mats Hummels back in December 2023. Despite being<a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/watch-alisha-lehmann-showcases-singing-voice-tiktok-trend-aston-villa-wsl-i-think-i-like-this-little-life-bandwagon/blt3c0b9b998bfdf0db" target="_blank"> in the midst of a Women's Super League campaign</a>, Lehmann has eagerly taken on the challenge, bringing her tactical acumen to the forefront.</p><p>The Baller League is <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/alisha-lehmann-coach-aston-villa-star-all-smiles-world-cup-winner-lukas-podolski/bltbef46f1e81372bd4#cs96dd13c0c1e35d1b" target="_blank">characterised by its fast-paced six-a-side format</a>, featuring squads of 11 players, with nine selected during the draft and two designated as wildcards. With 11 match days scheduled, each fixture consists of two 15-minute halves, culminating in the crowning of the Final Four on April 6.</p>

<p>Lehmann has been doing a great job in balancing both her roles - as a Villa player and being the manager with Streets United. She will be back in action on the pitch against Arsenal on Sunday evening in the WSL.</p>
