WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Antony has endured a nightmare spell at United, having arrived for a staggering £85m ($108m) fee in 2022. In 82 appearances he has registered just 16 goal involvements, and United are aware they are likely to have to absorb a major loss when he finally does move on.</p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>While United would prefer to sell Antony this summer, <em>Football Insider</em> claims they are open to allowing him to leave on loan, provided his £100,000-per-week wages are covered. His contract still has three years left to run so a temporary move may prove more financially viable.</p>
