<p>According to <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5614190/2024/07/20/riccardo-calafiori-arsenal-transfer-news/" target="_blank"><em>The Athletic</em></a><em>, </em>the Gunners have re-established contact with Bologna in their pursuit of Calafiori and following further discussions, the <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/arsenal-told-why-ricardo-calafiori-perfect-summer-signing-offensive-abilities-highlighted/bltb22d648124aa0415" target="_blank">two clubs have reached closer to finalising a deal</a> that has been in the works for several weeks. The transfer fee for Calafiori is expected to be in the range of €50-€54 million (£42m/$54.5m - £45.5m/$59m). While the exact details of the bonuses are still being negotiated, both<a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/riccardo-calafiori-arsenal-transfer-under-threat-bologna-stall-deal-italy/bltb31fe35b43f5448c" target="_blank"> clubs are optimistic about reaching </a>a total agreement soon.</p>
