<p>The 30-year-old was already on a booking when he caught Wolves' Nelson Semedo late in United's clash at Molineux on Thursday. The Red Devils skipper then received a second yellow to bring up his third dismissal in all competitions this season.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Bruno was initially <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/bruno-fernandes-first-red-card-man-utd-career-reckless-tackle-james-maddison-kobbie-mainoo-limps-off-nightmare-first-half-tottenham/bltaae58f24f5c9b26d" target="_blank">red carded against Tottenham</a> in late September, before that was <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/bruno-fernandes-three-match-ban-spurs-red-card-overturned-man-utd-appeal-wrongful-dismissal/blta2fc0b42038a6094" target="_blank">overturned on appeal</a>. Despite that reprieve, he was then <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/bruno-fernandes-man-utd-red-card-hardest-moments-captain-speaks-out-porto/bltd451b6ac91e61b5e#cs28b3b5f98fa2657a" target="_blank">sent off at FC Porto</a> in the Europa League in early October and now the Portugal international has been dismissed again, this time against Wolves. After never picking up a red card in his near five-year United career, Bruno's ill discipline is becoming an issue for the Red Devils. </p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>As Bruno's red card against Spurs was rescinded, the attacking midfielder will serve a one-match ban, rather than two, this time out. As a result, Bruno will only miss their home clash against Newcastle United next week, before returning against Liverpool on January 5.</p><p></p>

<p>Bruno will miss United hosting Newcastle at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Monday, as will midfielder Manuel Ugarte due to picking up his fifth booking of the season.</p>
