<p>The 18-year-old was fortunate not to see red on Tuesday in <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/real-madrid-player-ratings-vs-alaves-kylian-mbappe-vinicius-rodrygo/blt949a1d9ee8a75e83" target="_blank">Madrid's 3-2 win over Alaves</a> after kneeing Santiago Mourino in the groin. Alaves coach Luis Garcia Plaza was furious the Brazilian was not sent off and that VAR did not intervene. Now, <a href="https://www.marca.com/futbol/real-madrid/2024/09/26/66f46cc522601dd0218b45b8.html" target="_blank">Marca</a> claims Endrick is aware he was lucky not to be red-carded and that he will hold his hands up and assure it won't happen again to his teammates and manager Ancelotti. </p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Endrick came off the bench with 20 minutes to go, when Madrid were 3-0 up. If he had been sent off, he could have cost his side the victory; as Alaves scored two late goals to reduce their arrears. However, the teenager has scored two goals for the club so far in an otherwise bright start for Los Blancos.  </p>

<p>With Kylian Mbappe out of Sunday's trip to local rivals Atletico Madrid with a <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/real-madrid-confirm-kylian-mbappe-injury-blow-new-galactico-set-to-miss-key-games-la-liga-champions-league/blt88326b178185b95f" target="_blank">thigh injury,</a> Endrick could play a more prominent role against Diego Simeone's men. After multiple substitute appearances, this may be his chance to shine in the starting XI. </p>
