WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Neves has been in demand this summer for multiple clubs after impressing for his club and national team Portugal in the 2023-24 campaign. For Benfica, the youngster appeared in 55 matches across all competitions where he scored thrice and provided two assists.</p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>It was earlier reported that The Eagles were demanding a massive fee for their young star in the region of €100m (£84m), however, Hawkins claimed that the Ligue 1 giants are expected to pay a sum less than that.</p>
