<p>After Amorim's first game in charge for <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/man-utd-player-ratings-ipswich-town-ruben-amorim-andre-onana-casemiro-alejandro-garnacho/bltb7a26ce2a2237157" target="_blank">United ended in a 1-1 draw at Ipswich</a> on Sunday, the 39-year-old spoke to the Sky Sports pundits about his introduction to the Premier League. Despite joking he was <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/ruben-amorim-man-utd-no-miracles-task-old-trafford-really-hard/blteb99f9b160daaf4f#csbcbc5524ef5d0591" target="_blank">"the smiling one" before the match</a>, he did not look best pleased when the singing phenomenon interrupted his interview with the broadcaster. <p>@notorious_reds posted on X: "Disrespectful 🤡. Interrupting an interview like that, lording it with the presenters just because you’ve sold a few records. Typical celeb, anywhere a camera is set up, their face ends up on it."</p><p>@jaymeeteewhu98 tweeted: "Honestly? What has Sky become? Would’ve been better if at that point Amorim walked away. You can tell he’s p***ed off by the interruption."</p><p>@Amorim_BaII commented: "Imagine letting a pop star interrupt an interview with a coach. Gets his face on the screen every Ipswich game."</p><p>@TheoCartz put: "Embarrassing from Sky as always!! Disrespectful to the gaffer. Midway through interviewing him for the first time. I’d boycott talking to them in future!"</p><p>And Chipsricefood added: "Unprofessional from sky sports."</p>

WHAT THE FANS ARE SAYING

<p>Amorim was appointed as <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/ruben-amorim-new-man-utd-head-coach-red-devils-confirm-appointment-portuguese-boss-start-date-delayed-two-weeks/blt557a09768631c671" target="_blank">United's new boss earlier this month</a>, replacing the <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/time-finally-runs-out-for-erik-ten-hag-man-utd-set-to-sack-coach-nightmare-start/bltbc78659f6992704c" target="_blank">sacked Erik ten Hag </a>in the process. The former Sporting CP manager had a big task on his hands before heading to the Red Devils and after their draw with lowly Ipswich, he may be even more aware of how difficult this job will be.</p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>Amorim, who only took his first United session at the start of the week, will hope to get his first win at the Red Devils when they host Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League on Thursday night at Old Trafford. His first Premier League home game comes just three days after that, when struggling Everton make the short trip to Manchester. </p>
