<p>United reached an agreement to sign Obi-Martin in July but have been forced to wait for the transfer to be approved. The deal was held up, however, <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/chido-obi-martin-man-utd-may-end-up-in-court-former-arsenal-wonderkid/bltd0391072ef4cbeec" target="_blank">due to legal complications</a> as the Red Devils and Arsenal negotiated over compensation for the youngster. </p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>The 16-year-old has now been given the clearance to finalise the deal after the Premier League gave approval after their five-step process was concluded on Friday, <a href="https://x.com/fabrizioromano/status/1839615014862303527" target="_blank">Fabrizio Romano</a> says. <p>Obi-Martin has represented both England and Denmark at youth level, most recently featuring Denmark Under 17s. He was part of the Denmark side that reached the U17s Euros semi-finals this year.</p>
