The Serie A side are in talks to sign the 28-year-old in the January window. However, while City are determined to sell him in a permanent transfer, <a href="https://www.espn.co.uk/football/story/_/id/39161696/juventus-talks-sign-manchester-city-kalvin-phillips" target="_blank">ESPN</a> reports that Juventus would rather sign him on loan until the end of the season.

Phillips wants to leave City as soon as possible and <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/juventus-open-talks-to-sign-man-city-midfielder-kalvin-phillips-on-loan-in-january/blt021cfe952e6d7541" target="_blank">has been linked with Juve</a>, Newcastle and Manchester United. The England international is said to be <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/man-city-kalvin-phillips-demand-transfer-newcastle-juventus/blt2df19357c3360930" target="_blank">demanding guarantees over playing</a> time before settling on his next club as he has made just 10 appearances in all competitions this season - four in each of the Premier League and Champions League.
