Euro 2024 is almost upon us, with the opening game now just over a week away. Some of the biggest names in world football are set to arrive in Germany in the coming days to do battle for one of the most prestigious prizes in the game.
However, several stars won't be participating in the tournament, and for a variety of reasons. Some terrific talents have been ruled out by injury, with the dreaded ACL tear illustrating why it's the scourge of modern footballers, while others will miss the Euros through suspension.
