There has even been speculation that <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/liverpool-give-up-trent-alexander-arnold-sell-real-madrid-january-contract-expiry/blt924845e9a6f2011c" target="_blank">Liverpool have already given up hope of trying to convince Alexander-Arnold to stay</a> and are considering a sale in the January transfer window to avoid losing the academy graduate on a free transfer next summer.</p>
