Leeds secured the 3-0 win at Elland Road this afternoon, as Blues fans hurled chants at the former Manchester United and Everton man, who could only watch on as his side recorded their ninth defeat across his 15-games in charge at the club.The chants heard from the travelling aways fans were: “Get out of our club, get out of our club, Wayne Rooney, get out of our club.”

WHAT HAPPENED?

Speaking to <a href="https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/wayne-rooney-birmingham-city-bristol-28366655#google_vignett" target="_blank">BirminghamLive </a>after the defeat, Rooney was asked about the chants made by his own fans, “Not the result we wanted. Knew it was going to be a tough game. Started well until the first goal. Caused them problems in transition. Not clinical enough with the opportunities we had.“First goal big difference to the game. WHAT ROONEY SAID
