Carabao Cup semi-final draw, fixtures & results
The 2022-23 Carabao Cup semi-final draw was held on Wednesday, January 11 after the game between Southampton and Manchester City. Ties will be contested over two legs with Southampton hosting Newcastle first and Nottingham Forest coming up against Manchester United.
The Magpies booked their place in the final on Tuesday, January 31 - and they will face Manchester United at Wembley with the Red Devils completing their end of the bargain with a 5-0 aggregate throttling of Nottingham Forest on Wednesday, February 1.

Twenty-two teams from Championship are joined by 24 teams from League One and 24 teams from League Two. Games were played on the week commencing August 8.

Liverpool won the Carabao Cup in 2021-22. The Reds defeated Chelsea 11-10 on penalties after the game finished 0-0 in regulation and extra time.
