Paul Pogba took to Instagram to discuss his now-complete ankle surgery and the Manchester United man seemed to be in good spirits after undergoing to procedure.
The midfielder is set to miss a few weeks due to the injury, Man Utd manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed last week .
Solskjaer added that Pogba's "people" advised him to undergo the operation , which would hopefully fix a recurring ankle issue that had been plaguing the World Cup winner.
That operation came on Tuesday and, clearly still out of it from anaesthesia, Pogba offered an update on social media once he came to.
"Guys, I'm making a video on Instagram," he in a series of videos. "I don't know if okay, if I'm high, if I'm sober. I don't look sober.
"But you guys asked me if it went well. I don't know. I see my ankle like that, I can't really feel my toes. But I'm still alive, that's the good news! I'll keep you updated.
"People told me I look drunk, but I didn't drink alcohol. They gave me some things in my arm. They told me to relax and breathe. And then I woke up and I couldn't move my leg and I didn't know where I was."
Pogba's monologue then got a bit off track, as the Frenchman said that getting a haircut is one of his big priorities post-operation.
"I need a haircut. The best guy that cuts hair, let me know after the operation," he said.
"I've still got the smile! I'm blessed I'm still alive. Everything went well. I don't know what I remember.
"They give me some things and I don't even know what it is, but it feels good! Okay guys, I don't even think I remember what I've done after all because, whew."
Prior to the operation, Pogba temporarily returned to the Man Utd squad for the festive fixtures, appearing against Watford and Newcastle United in the two league matches before Christmas.
However, he was absent from subsequent matches at Burnley and Arsenal before undergoing the operation.
Man Utd are set to face Manchester City on Tuesday in the Carabao Cup before returning to Premier League play on Saturday against Norwich.
After that, the Red Devils face an FA Cup replay against Wolves at Old Trafford following a scoreless draw in their first clash.
