Norwich City vs Aston Villa: TV channel, live stream, squad news & preview

Aston Villa travel to Norwich on Saturday knowing a win would all but secure their place in the Championship play-offs.

Steve Bruce's side ended a three-match winless run with victory over Reading on Tuesday.

That result leaves them fourth in the table and 11 points clear of seventh-placed Bristol City with just six games to play.

They will be eyeing all three points against a Norwich side that have struggled for consistency in Daniel Farke's first season in charge.

The Canaries are well clear of danger in 14th but can only really now aim for a top-half finish in their final run of matches.

Match Preview

After a slow start to the season Villa have enjoyed a relatively successful 2018, with a play-off place now all but assured.

Victory over 10-man Reading last time out also kept them in the hunt for an automatic promotion berth, and after Cardiff's loss to Wolves on Friday they could move to within four points of second place with a win at Carrow Road.

Norwich, in contrast, have won just one of their last 10 matches and were thrashed 4-1 by QPR last time out - a result that left manager Daniel Farke fuming.

The German boss has been under pressure at various points in the season, but it seems for now the Canaries hierarchy are willing to stick by him as they plot a potential return to the top-flight as soon as possible.
