The requirement comes at an inopportune time for the Blaugrana, whose financial woes have mounted significantly in recent years. <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-us/lists/barcelona-run-out-financial-levers-mess-disaster-inevitable/blt3bf95b8c81325102" target="_blank">La Liga has blocked the further usage of so-called financial "levers" that freed up cash from the precipice of bankruptcy in 2022</a>.
