WHAT HAPPENED?

Newcastle's financial constraints may limit their ability to pursue a permanent transfer for Ramsdale, which could be good news for Chelsea. Manager Mauricio Pochettino is urging his board to sign players <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/chelsea-goalkeeper-robert-sanchez-blues-champions-league-mauricio-pochettino/blt5d458776adbbefbf" target="_blank">who have prior experience playing in the Premier League</a> following a challenging first half of the season and hence Ramsdale has become one of the top priorities of the club.
