FIFA Club World Cup 2025 stadium venues

<p>Unlike previous iterations of the FIFA Club World Cup, which featured only the winners of continental club competitions, the 2025 edition will see an expanded format.</p><p>A total of <strong>32 teams</strong> will be drawn into <strong>eight groups of four</strong> and the top two teams from each group progress to the knockout stage. </p><p>The knockout stage will feature three rounds - <strong>last 16</strong>, <strong>quarter-finals</strong> and <strong>semi-finals</strong> before concluding with the <strong>final</strong>. There is no third-place play-off.</p>

The first phase of ticket sales will remain open until January 14, 2025. <p>FIFA has confirmed that the prize fund for the 2025 Club World Cup is <strong>$1 billion (£777m)</strong>. This prize pot will be distributed among the tournament participants, with some funds also going to clubs across the world as part of a "club solidarity" approach.</p><p>Announcing the unprecedented fund, FIFA president Gianni Infantino said: “All revenue generated by the tournament will be distributed to the participating clubs and via club solidarity across the world as FIFA will not keep a single dollar."</p>
