His standout performances in the Chan qualifiers have raised questions about his limited game time at Mamelodi Sundowns as the midfielder faces tough competition from Marcelo Allende, Jayden Adams, and Sphelele Mkhulise in the Masandawana squad. </p><p>Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Tshepo Masilela has shared his thoughts on how Nasreddine Nabi can strengthen his squad ahead of the next season. With the 2024/25 season nearing its end, Masilela believes he could be a valuable addition to Amakhosi. if the Bloemfontein-born player becomes available on the market, he could provide much-needed creativity in Chiefs’ midfield. <p>“I would say get him if he’s available, and if you want to build a championship side, meaning you want to challenge for the league, you need depth,” Masilela said when asked on Soccer Beat Podcast if Chiefs should consider the attacking midfielder as reported by<a href="https://farpost.co.za/2025/03/12/masilela-reveals-sundowns-star-chiefs-should-sign/" target="_blank"> Farpost</a>. </p><p>“We’ve been talking about depth and I think Maema is one of those players who can add value in your team. And you want players that have tasted the feeling of winning championships.</p><p>“So he’s someone who can bring experience when you look at his age because he’s 29, if he’s available and I’m Kaizer Chiefs, I would go and get him.”</p>

WHAT MASILELA SAID
