They, however, will <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/newcastle-marc-guehi-england-euro-2024-star-crystal-palace-exit/blt7b242156f890b9ce" target="_blank">face competition from Newcastle United</a> in their pursuit of the English centre-back.

Other than Guehi, the Merseyside giants also remain interested in signing Newcastle sensation Anthony Gordon. They are reportedly ready to<a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/joe-gomez-liverpool-future-failed-gbp45m-transfer/bltec392b727fa96c4e" target="_blank"> include Joe Gomez as a part of the deal </a>for the winger. The Magpies reportedly have identified a replacement in case Gordon exits St. James' Park in this window.
