A much-changed Mamelodi Sundowns side were held to a 1-1 draw by Stellenbosch FC in the PSL on Sunday in a game where the Brazilians survived a barrage of attacks from their hosts.
Rhulani Mokwena’s men looked shaky at the back, with their hosts making life difficult for them, and it was until Cassius Mailula was introduced later in the second half that they got going in attack.
Besides Mailula, Sundowns goalkeeper Reyaad Pieterse was also impressive, on his first start this season, as he kept out a number of great chances from Stellenbosch who got a well-deserved point from the penalty spot. GOAL rates how Sundowns’ players performed.
