Sead Ramovic was considered by Raja Casablanca to succeed former Orlando Pirates coach Josef Zinnbauer who ditched the Botola Pro League champions for Saudi side Al Wehda.However, the TS Galaxy coach <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-za/lists/no-ramovic-mokwena-reunion-the-serbian-reveals-why-he-will-not-succeed-zinnbauer-at-raja-casablanca/blt8f9917cf74c9f764" target="_blank">refused the offer to take over</a> after failing to agree on personal terms; the tactician has since revealed where it went wrong.

WHAT HAPPENED?

"I can only say that Raja Casablanca is a beautiful club with unbelievably great supporters but all in all what I always say, God knows that I have to be loyal to myself," he told <a href="https://www.sabcsport.com/soccer/news/sead-ramovic-reflects-on-failed-raja-casablanca-move" target="_blank">SABC Sport</a>."I have to be with myself with the same principles, I have to live by these kinds of values because I have a group, they are behind me and if I just get one opportunity then the demands are not what I want."I need my staff because my staff will help me to get success and if my staff is not with me, if I have to go alone there, it's not the values, it's not what I represent but it doesn't have anything to do with the club, I wish them all the best. It's just an amazing club and I wish they can win the league and the cup."

WHAT RAMOVIC SAID

Ramovic will now focus on helping the Rockets better the 2023/24 season in which they reached the Carling Knockout final but narrowly lost to Stellenbosch.They went on to finish sixth in the Premier Soccer League, missing the Caf Confederation Cup qualification by a whisker.

Galaxy recently played in the Mpumalanga International Premier's Cup against the likes of Tanzanian champions Yanga SC, Augsburg of Germany's Bundesliga and Mbabane Swallows.Ramovic hopes to be ready for the Rockets' first competitive assignment against Stellenbosh in the MTN8 quarter-final to be played on Sunday, August 4.
