<p>The ex-Real Madrid defender joined United for a reported £41 million ($52m) in 2021 from Los Blancos but he wasn't the same force he was in La Liga. That was evident in the fact he is <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/raphael-varane-confirms-man-utd-exit-video-reveals-what-he-thinks-about-sir-jim-ratcliffe-ineos-disastrous-2023-24-season/blt754aaa235558d94e" target="_blank">now a free agent and is looking for a new club</a>. It is likely he has several years left in his career, however, and more success could come his way.</p>
