<p>Wydad Athletic Club coach Rhulani Mokwena savoured a perfect night after routing second-division JS Massira 5-0 in the Excellence Cup on Friday.&nbsp;</p><p>Former Mamelodi Sundowns defender Abdelmounaim Boutouil, Pedrinho, Arthur Sanches, Zakaria Moudayane, and Chouaib Faidi scored for the Botola Pro League giants.&nbsp;</p><p>The victory over the Laayoune-based outfit saw Wydad AC move to the top of the Group 5 standings.&nbsp;</p>

WYDAD AC RESULT

<p>This was the biggest margin of victory for Wydad AC under Mokwena, who has been in charge of the club since the start of the season.&nbsp;</p><p>The Moroccan powerhouse bounced back to winning ways after <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-za/lists/mokwena-s-wydad-athletic-club-beaten-again-as-mailula-drought-continues/blt6b52c030e2f22436" target="_blank">suffering defeat in the Excellence Cup</a> - having lost 1-0 against Jeunesse Sportive Soualem earlier this week.&nbsp;</p><p>On the other hand, Bafana Bafana international Cassius Mailula started the match on Friday, but he couldn't find his first Wydad goal.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Mokwena should be relieved as pressure was starting to pile on him following frustrating weeks of unconvincing performances.</p><p>Wydad AC will be seen in league action when they play against SCC Mohammédia on Saturday,&nbsp;October 19.</p>
