WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>The duo have long been friends, and faced off against each other last spring in the Premier League for the first time, with Adams and Leeds United taking on Pulisic and Chelsea. Now, both have moved on, with the forward excelling in Italy with Milan, while Adams' summer move to Bournemouth has gone less well due to injury.</p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>On Adams' professional debut at 15-years-old for the New York Red Bulls,<a href="https://www.goal.com/en-us/lists/13-fun-facts-about-tyler-adams/bltc5f191ee823fe4c4" target="_blank"> he scored against then-Premier League champions Chelsea</a>, heading home in the 88th minute in a preseason friendly against the English side.</p>

<p>The USMNT midfielder and captain is set to remain on the sidelines until early Spring. <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-us/news/injured-usmnt-captain-tyler-adams-bournemouth/blte30264654bc37a80" target="_blank">Adams underwent surgery in October</a>, and is still undergoing rehab.
