USMNT's Johnny Cardoso gets first start of season in Real Betis' Europa Conference League win over Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih

U.S international Johnny Cardoso started and played 64 minutes in Real Betis' 2-0 win over Ukrainian side Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih in the first leg of their Europa Conference League playoff clash. Ezequiel Avila and Rodri scored Betis' two goals, which will give them a advantage heading back home to Spain for the second leg.Cardoso played into the second half, completing 85 percent of his passes, before being taken off in favor of Marc Roca. The U.S. men's national team midfielder made his first start of the season, having come off the bench in Betis' 1-1 draw with Girona to start the season.

WHAT HAPPENED?
