- Tillman and Dest start
- Ramos called for penalty after foul on Tillman
- PSV earn 2-2 draw
U.S. men's national team stars Sergino Dest and Malik Tillman started for the Dutch side while Ricardo Pepi came in off the bench as PSV looked to bounce back from a Champions League-opening loss to Arsenal. And it took every last bit of both effort and luck for them to bounce back as they earned a point that may just keep their Champions League campaign alive.
A goal from Sevilla's Nemanja Gudelj capped a wild 10 minutes early in the second half, giving Sevilla the lead before PSV four back. Tillman earned a penalty late on, one which was converted by Luuk de Jong but, just one minute after the Dutch side leveled the game, Sevilla left them shellshocked as Youssef En-Nesyri scored what looked like a late winner.
PSV then snatched a point at the death as Jordan Teze jammed home a goal from a 95th-minute set piece to seal a split of the points.
