<p>The game was suspended at one stage as missiles rained down from the stands, making it impossible <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/live-stream-online-tv-where-to-watch-ajax-v-feyenoord/bltc51ab42cae6f3e98" target="_blank">for the match to continue</a> due to the threat posed to player safety. It was decided to continue after a brief delay, but a second suspension was required as flares continued to land on the playing surface.</p>

<p>Ajax were trailing 3-0 in a meeting with their fiercest rivals when proceedings were brought to a halt, with Santiago Gimenez bagging a brace before Igor Paixao also got in on the act before half-time. Supporters then took matters into their own hands in a bid to cause chaos.</p><center></center>

<p>Ajax are likely to find themselves in trouble with the Dutch football authorities after failing to control the behaviour of those in the stands. Punishments will be handed out by the KNVB once it is determined how severe they should be.
