Caen left Strasbourg on Tuesday with a point after their Ligue 1 clash, but also left behind one of their players at Stade de la Meinau!
Defensive midfielder Ismael Diomande was late catching up with his team-mates as he stopped to talk with Strasbourg's Algerian striker Idriss Saadi, and by the time he had arrived outside the stadium, the team bus had already departed for the airport!
"I go out, I do not see the bus anymore," the Ivory Coast international told RMC . "But I did not panic. Fortunately, they didn't take the flight without me. I'm waiting, I think they'll drop me at the airport. But that's crazy!"
Luckily, the 25-year-old was able to catch up with the rest of the squad before they left for Caen, but he surely will be first back at the bus when they travel to Toulouse on Saturday, December 9.
Before that, Caen host Lyon on December 3, looking to move closer to the leading pack. They currently sit in sixth on 23 points, 15 adrift of PSG but just six behind second-placed Lyon.
