Manchester City have completed the signing of Brazilian teenager Douglas Luiz from Vasco Da Gama.
City's most expensive signings ever
The 19-year-old midfielder has signed a five-year deal at the Etihad Stadium and becomes the club's fourth siging of the summer.
He has made 10 appearances for the Brazilian outfit this season, scoring a single goal.
Douglas has also represented Brazil at under-20 level, and City director of football Txiki Begiristain was thrilled that he chose to continue his development with the Premier League outfit.
"We are pleased to welcome Douglas. He is an exciting player with great potential, and everyone here is looking forward to helping him develop his talent and progress in the game."
It remains to be seen as to whether Douglas will break into Pep Guardiola's first team in the 2017-18 season with competition stiff at Eastlands.
He follows Bernardo Silva, Ederson and Kyle Walker through the door at the Etihad Stadium this summer.
